1. Lyth Ltd, trading as Contic (we, us or our), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.contic.co.uk (the Website). This policy explains which ones, why, and how you control them. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
Your choice comes first
2. When you first visit the Website, a banner asks which kinds of cookie you accept. Until you answer, we set only the strictly necessary cookies below, and no analytics or advertising tool loads.
3. You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies separately. Declining does not stop the Website working.
4. You can change your mind at any time with the cookie settings button at the foot of every page. If you withdraw consent, those tools stop and we clear what PostHog stored in your browser.

5. A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some tools use local storage, which works the same way. This policy covers both.

Without cookies
6. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure page speed without storing anything in your browser. Our own server also records which pages are opened and the IP address each visit came from, and asks ipapi.is which organisation that address belongs to; nothing is stored in your browser for this, and our Privacy Policy explains it.
Pages we write for named people
7. Pages at contic.co.uk/for/… are written for one person we have contacted, and are covered by their own notice at contic.co.uk/for/privacy. They set no cookies and store nothing in the browser.
Managing cookies in your browser
8. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; aboutcookies.org explains how. If you block strictly necessary cookies we cannot remember your choice, so the banner will ask again.

9. We will update this policy when the tools we use change, and the date above will change with it.
